After receiving some valued feedback from our Service Engineers, one of the points that was noted was that they would benefit from LWB vans due to requiring more tool space for the big kit. However with a 9 month wait on the 10x new LWB Ford Transit Connects we already had on order, we decided to give the Ford Transit Customs a go in the meantime.
The first to arrive was this great example pictured above, finished in Ford’s burnt orange paint and fully specced out with the latest driver safety aids and equipment needed for day to day use by our engineers.
Once we received the new van, we didn’t hang about in getting it kitted out with everything our engineers asked for. This included bespoke-built shelving, interior lighting upgrades, inverters and protective flooring for the read load compartment. Once all this was complete, the van then made its way to get branded up however we didn’t want to do any half measures when it came to livery and so opted for a half-vehicle wrap allowing us to still show some of the gorgeous burnt orange paint that came from the factory.
